6-Week Follow on course.

This follow on course is perfect if you have recently done the One-Day masterclass or the 6-week absolute beginners course, or if you already know the basics of dressmaking. This course is for all intermediate to advanced levels so you can come back again and again working on new projects of your choice, learning new techniques while working on more advanced patterns.

In this course I will show you how to take your sewing skills up one level by making garments with more details than the beginners course. Now when you know the basics of dressmaking we can concentrate a bit more of the construction of th garment.

The classes are very small, never more than 4 students, which allows me lots of one-to-one time with everyone.

In 6 weeks I will show you things like:

*How to choose the right fabric for the project and to prepare it.

*How to work with a independent sewing pattern

*About french darts and princess seams

*How to sew in a exposed, invisible or fly zip

*How to use the Overlock Machine

*About dipped and scallops hems

*How to sew collars

*How to set a sleeve

*How to work with drape fabric

*And so many, many more things.

If there is anything specific you want to know about you can just ask and I will show it in the course.

I have all tools you will need for the course and sewing machines that you can borrow for the course but you are more than welcome to bring your own so you can learn all the news things on that.
